Windows XP is Going Away in 2014?

Do you use Windows XP? Not yet upgraded to the new version of Microsoft Windows?

Don't worry, it's not as bad as it sounds. As Dick Eastman says in this article, you'll likely be able to use Windows XP for years to come. It's just that Microsoft is ending support for it.

But what does that mean? It basically means that they won't be doing more updates to add features and fix bugs. But it's been around so long, that's no big deal. And you won't be able to ask Microsoft for help if you have problems. But how often do you do that? Never, right?

But what if you do need help?

There are lots of resources online where you can get unofficial help for your Windows XP problems.

One of which is Ask Leo, who happens to be a friend of mine, and he has a popular newsletter providing support answers for the various Microsoft Windows apps and operating systems.
